Do you allow people to stay overnight for a fee? Then your accommodation must meet the compulsory basic standards and general operating conditions for room-based accommodation, site-specific accommodation or youth accommodation. Before you start operating your accommodation, you must also register it with Toerisme Vlaanderen.

You can also voluntarily request an accreditation and comfort classification (stars) for your accommodation from Toerisme Vlaanderen. This is free of charge.

Once you have registered your accommodation and it meets the basic standards and operating conditions, you can start operating it. You do not have to wait for the site visit or consultation with one of our accommodation consultants.
